The hermit of Pasquarella
Thirteen km from Baschi on the SS 448 motorway, caught between rocks and thick vegetation, is signed on the left hand side in the direction of Todi, read, "Centroescursionistico della Pasquarella" (excursion centre of Pasquaurella). There are three celebrations a year: the Epiphany, the Albis Sunday, and the last May Sunday. It was built in the XI century. Its name derives from "small Easter" or "first Easter of the year, namely Epiphany". There are different legends as to its origin: the most widespread say's that some Acqualoreto inhabitants having discovered an Icon of Saint Mary and having brought it to their Parish Church. The Saint Mary icon used to move back to its original place by itsself, so the Acqualoreto people had to bring it to their Church repeatedly. In 1873 it was Don Giuseppe Bernardi who re-ignited the veneration for the Madonna della Pasquarella: in 1880 he had the holy building renovated. In his book on the history of the Virgin of Pasquarella, Don Bernardi talked about a miracle: Saint Mary and Christ's sweating. Between 1890 and 1900 this phenomenon took place more than once beside him and beside some members of the public. It always happened on the day of Epiphany, regardless of weather conditions and of the number of people being there.

The Convent of Sant'Angelo di Pantanelli
The Convent of Sant'Angelo di Pantanelli is 2 Km far from Baschi and it is on the SS 448 road connecting Baschi to Todi. Saint Francis took part in its building in 1216; not far from the Convent there is a cave where the Saint used to live for some time, and the reef on the Tevere river from which Saint Francis talked to fishes. Some eminent figures have been in the Monastery: Jacopone da Todi, who composed some lauds here, including the very famous "Stabat Mater". Most Baschi's noble families were buried in the Church. In 1973 on the main Altar a marvellous fresco dating back to the XV century was discovered, representing a crucifixion. At Christ's feet there was Saint Francis: it seems that it is one of the earliest portraits of the Saint.
